The 2016-2017 special course offerings for Oak Hill Classical School are below. Some are a continuation of previous courses, but several new offerings represent an exciting new direction for our school. The descriptions below are for your reference.

Grammar School (Grades 1-5)

In the Grammar School, our specials are designed to round out students’ exposure to the arts and to physical activity, both of which are essential components of a liberal education. Our focus is on enjoyment and acquisition of general knowledge, skills, and ideas.

Physical Education (Mrs. Marijo Petras) | Monday and Thursday, Terms 1 – 4

This course is a general introduction to the grammar of sport. Through participation in both focused activities and sports, students learn the basic skills to play a number of sports. Students also compete in the Spring Fitness Challenge, which awards student performance in a number of events.
