Matt Baker
Interim Head of School
Matt.Baker@OakHillClassical.org

Matt Baker has more than a dozen years of Senior Pastor experience in two different Baptist churches here in Northeast Georgia, and currently serves as Associate Pastor at NewBranch Community Church. His love for education grew after his first two children were born and he and his wife, Brandon, began to explore education options that would best suit their family. During this search they discovered Classical education and have been classically educating their children since 2014. Matt has taught at the high school level from 2014-2015 — and has been a Rhetoric-level classical educator since 2017. Matt and Brandon have four children and when they aren’t involved with their church and school communities they love being outside. Matt earned an Associate of Arts degree from Truett McConnell College and a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry from Leavell College of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
